I LOVE my Markwest jeans! I am extremely hard to fit with a smaller waist, long torso, and a slim butt but wide hips. So far these have been the only jeans that truly fit me without any pinching or tight spots. I highly recommend these jeans to anyone. I feel as though I could’ve sized up or sized down and still had a perfect fit jean. Highly recommend!! 🩷

These jeans are awesome. Worked all day in them and didn’t tug at them throughout the day. They stayed put and were very flattering. Rode in them and it’s the first pair of jeans I haven’t had to tug at multiple times when riding. The cel phone pocket was perfect and kept my phone secure. The color is great and THANK YOU for making a true high rise jean! Love these and want another pair to have for my rotation.
I love these jeans. They are comfortable, long enough (I'm 5'10"). The legs don't twist or ride up when you ride. They are high waisted, which I prefer. They give you the old "Rockies" vibe. The cell phone pocket is the best, rest assured your phone isn't coming out when you ride.

These are hands-down the best jeans I’ve worn and ridden in. They’re durable, flexible, and stay perfectly in place whether I’m in the saddle or doing barn chores. The fit is flattering without restricting movement, and the minimal inner seams prevent chafing on long rides. These are now my go-to jeans I reach for every time.

From the Barn to the Show Pen—This is Personal
I’m Whitney Lloyd—a lifelong horse girl, Quarter Horse circuit competitor, and the founder of MarkWest Denim.
My love for horses started when my Grandpa Mark put me on a half-broke pony, and the rest was history. Like many of you, I’ve worn just about every pair of jeans the Western world has to offer, but I couldn’t find a single pair that truly worked.
Everything I tried bunched at the hips, gapped at the waist, sagged in the seat, rubbed in the saddle - and forget about a secure place to tuck your cellphone! I didn’t want “good enough” anymore. So I got to work designing something better—for me and for all of us.
