I can talk to you all day about all the great features in MarkWest jeans and how well they fit — but I’d rather let the cowgirls wearing them do the talking.

The jeans are super comfortable to wear and ride in!
Wore them one day wish I’d just returned them they held shape and had good movement in hips but they are super high waisted and the crotch patch I just can’t bring myself to wear them again. I’d guess they would last a long time they are pretty think material

Our True Blue Jean is intentionally high rise to prevent gapping in the saddle, and the design you’re referring to is our patented gusset, which replaces the traditional front seam. We designed it specifically for riders who struggle with saddle sores, chafing and discomfort from a traditional front seam in the saddle. It’s been a gamechanger for so many horse girls, but we know every rider has her own preferences when it comes to her jeans.
That’s actually why we’re launching our new style this fall! It has a traditional front seam instead of our gusset, while keeping the MarkWest fit, premium denim and riding features you liked about your True Blues.
We also saw that you mentioned wishing you had returned them, so we’ve reached out to you personally to see if there’s anything we can do to make your experience with MarkWest a better one.

Best jeans ever !!!! Literally getting me through this Tulsa heat with riding, lunging, and everything else! They have not grown on me, staying true to size, and best part is my phone not falling out of my backpocket!
I couldn’t recommend these jeans enough, to say I’ll wear these for over a week at a time should be enough proof of how comfortable and durable these jeans are. The gusset makes such a difference for me when I’m spending hours in the saddle. I can’t stop telling every woman I know to get them selves a pair of these jeans if they never want to be high watered again! And the phone pocket is just a sneaky plus. These were true to size for me and I’d order 100 more if I could
